Production Manager App

The Production App is for the people doing the work. The Production Manager App is for the person walking the floor asking why something hasn't moved.

Getting there

Open https://your-site.com/garmentflow/production-manager, or scan the QR code on the GarmentFlow Setup workspace and pick Production Manager.

It is role-gated like every other app: if the tile isn't in your launcher, you don't have the role.

Flow — where is everything?

Every active Production Order with its batches underneath, filterable by unit and by state: Active, Pending, On Hold, Overdue, All.

Each order shows planned quantity, how many batches it has, and its due date, with overdue called out. Each batch underneath shows its variant, quantity and where it currently sits — including group batches and any variant that hasn't been assigned yet.

From any batch, Open full audit jumps straight to the Audit tab for that batch. That link is the point of the screen: spot something odd in the flow, and you are one tap from the whole story.

This is the mobile counterpart to the Where Is It dashboard.

Cutting — what still needs cutting?

The cut plan across every active order, not one order at a time: lays outstanding, pieces to cut, what has been handed over, and lining cuts alongside their primary.

Search by batch code. When everything is cut it says so — Everything planned has been cut — rather than showing an empty list you have to interpret.

Open a cut for the pattern, marker ratio, plies, length, estimated and actual pieces, and — where material is short — Create MR to raise the material request without leaving the floor.

Materials — what is blocked?

Batches that need material before they can run, grouped and ranked by what is missing.

Each row shows what is in the source warehouse, what is at the unit, and what is still missing. Actions:

• Generate Material Request — for a batch that needs one.
• Notify to deliver — tell the store to move material that already exists, and the row flips to Notified, then delivered.

A batch with no production unit is flagged Blocked — assign a unit first, because a material request has nowhere to go until it has one.

Audit — what happened to this batch?

Search a batch, open it, and get the complete record on one screen:

• Planned against produced, remaining, and days running or idle.
• The bottleneck operation.
• Operation steps with start dates and status.
• Every ledger entry.
• Cutting orders, rolls used and lengths.
• Materials, allocation and consumption.
• Stock entries and Where Is Stock.
• Inspections and defects.
• Cost.

It is the same ground as the Batch Audit dashboard, shaped for a phone in a corridor rather than a monitor at a desk.

Who it is for

Production managers, floor supervisors who own more than one line, and anyone who spends their day answering "where is order X". It is deliberately thin on data entry — the two things it writes are material requests and delivery notifications. Everything else is read.
