GarmentFlow Setup
Guided Setup teaches first-run order once and then gets out of the way. GarmentFlow Setup is the other half: the workspace that never goes away, indexing every master and settings record a garment factory has to fill in — GarmentFlow's, ERPNext's and HR's alike — and lighting each one green once records exist.
GarmentFlow Setup is the answer to "where do I configure this?" six months after go-live, for someone who was not there at go-live.
Where to find GarmentFlow Setup
Open the GarmentFlow Setup workspace in Desk, or press Ctrl + K (Cmd + K on a Mac) and
type garmentflow setup.
What is on the page
Welcome to GarmentFlow shows a progress meter for Guided Setup — "4 of 8 steps done" — and a button into the wizard. Unlike the card on the other workspaces, this panel never hides; a finished setup just softens the button.
Checklist is ten cards, one per area, each listing the records that area needs. Every row shows a hint of what the record is for, and a light:

A card's tally ("3 / 5") tells you how far that area has got. Click any row to go straight to that list or settings form.
GarmentFlow Apps holds a QR code for the floor-app launcher, the URL in plain text underneath, and chips naming the apps you personally can open. Operators, cutters and inspectors work from a phone: point a camera at the QR code and the site opens on the device. There is no install and no app store.

Two things are worth knowing about what the checklist shows you:
- Rows you have no permission to read are hidden, not greyed out. A supervisor opening GarmentFlow Setup sees a shorter list, rather than a page of links that error on click.
- Rows for doctypes that are not installed disappear too. Uninstall the Quality app and the Quality Control card goes with it.
Using GarmentFlow Setup
During implementation, work the cards top to bottom. Grey rows are your backlog, and the tallies make it obvious which area is behind.
After go-live, use the page as an index. "Where do I add a defect category?" becomes one search and one click, instead of hunting through ERPNext's own workspaces for the few records that matter to a garment plant.
When onboarding an administrator, hand them this page. It is the shortest complete description of what GarmentFlow is configured from.
Green means records exist, not records are correct. The checklist is a coverage check, not an audit — a single throwaway Item lights up Raw Materials.
